You and Your Dog
You are of course welcome to walk your dog(s) with family/ friends, however, we ask that you park a maximum of 2 vehicles. No more than 6 dogs should be on the field at one time.
You agree not to let anyone else onto the field other than any friends or family members you have brought with you to enjoy your time at Walkies.
By bringing family and friends, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you take full responsibility for their safety and for ensuring that they abide by these terms and conditions at all times whilst using Walkies field.
At your own risk – Uneven ground, long grass.
You agree that your use of Walkies is at your risk and agree not to hold Walkies, its owners, or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family or friends, or your dog(s) arising from your use of Walkies field. The field is a large outdoor space and contains areas of uneven ground which could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation, has overhanging branches from trees that may fall or have fallen, and could contain other hazards consistent with the countryside.
Children
You are welcome to bring children to the field, but they must be supervised at all times, and you are responsible for making sure they do not injure themselves or break any of these terms and conditions. Please be aware that the field has not been made child safe, and that certain elements may pose an additional hazard to children. (not child proof dog poo bins for example)
Buildings and specific obstacles.
The shelter is available for your use, but please make sure the door is securely shut after use. This and the other obstacles at Walkies are used at your own risk, agreeing not to hold Walkies, its owners, or staff responsible for any injuries caused in relation to using them.
The fence
We will be inspecting and maintaining the fence regularly, holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time due to a number of reasons including digging by dogs or other animals, falling trees or branches, and general wear and tear. If you become aware of any issue with the state of the fence, please let us know immediately so that we can make other users aware and so we can fix it as soon as possible. We cannot however take any responsibility for any dog escaping the field whether or not this is through a defect in the fence, and regardless of whether we have notified you in advance or not.
Using the field and cleaning up after your dog(s)
It is your responsibility to pick up all of your dog’s waste and dispose of it in the bins provided. All other litter to be taken home with you and disposed of correctly.
You must enter the parking area and close the gate before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle to ensure the safety of the dog(s), nearby road users, and members of the public.
Please ensure that you do not arrive early for your booking and depart the field 5 minutes to the hour, leaving it clean and ensuring the gates are shut.
Please only park on the hardstanding (i.e., the graveled area) within the field gates and not outside in any circumstances. Do not park or drive on the grass.
Bookings
Bookings are non-refundable.
All bookings must be paid for in advance. Payments are made through Squarespace.
It is possible to reschedule (not cancel) bookings if you log in to the calendar on the website. You may reschedule bookings up to 3 days (72hrs) in advance of your booking slot.
If you know that you will not be able to use the Walkies field in extreme weather (very hot/ snow/ gales/ etc) then please acquaint yourself with the reschedule tool.
This booking creates no rights of occupation over the land. The owners maintain full control at all times.
Covid – 19
Customers must strictly adhere to government guidelines relevant to the time of your booking.
Data Protection
Information given to Walkies at the time of booking will only be retained in order to contact clients about their bookings.
Updates
By making a booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions on the website at the time of making your booking.
